Absolutely untrue. There have always been segments of society that have been shut out of the housing market. From 2012 to 2017 was no different.

“let us get on with the Landlord-Tenant Act reform which has stalled” Why? Who stalled it and why?

From what I understand from very high sources in Government revisions to the Landlord-Tenant Act and the Rent Control Act have been in the works through various Government Departments for many years.

More than two years ago it was supposedly ready to be put through the HOA for approval. So now it is stalled once again. Tenants can’t find places to live. Landlords are fedup with the courts and their blatantly biased rulings resulting in places being taken off of the market.

Meanwhile the Government dithers afraid to do anything.
