We regret to announce the passing of Edith Elsie Lucille Webb nee Simmons of #8 Henry Vale Warwick PG 01. Elsie is predeceased by husband Walter Webb, mother Olive Marie Simmons, uncles: McIvor [Lucille] and James [Phylis]Simmons, aunts Eula and Dorothy [Edward] Simmons, Helena [Hilton] Tucker; siblings: Rosalind [Leon] Herbert, Winston and Faye Simmons; grandson Dennis Simmons and daughter-in-law Rochelle Simmons, Mec and Karen Herbert.
A service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Point Church [Formerly TN Tatem School], Middle Road, Warwick.
There will be no viewing.
She leaves to mourn brother Robert Simmons: children: Sharon Hensdiek, Derek [Nan], Jennifer and Wayne Simmons, Donnamae Masters, June Butterfield, Kevin [Monica] and Lynette Webb; grandchildren Nneka Simmons, Derricka [Kenneth] Burns, Ajale [Michael] Williams, Jenilla [Glenn] Hatherley, Donovan Hensdiek, Camille [Jekon] Edness, Kevoni Smith, Maneka Butterfield, Kevoni Smith, Kendra [Shandora] Butterfield, Denae, Derek,Wayne, and Allan Simmons and Mia Webb. 19 great grand children and 1 great-great granddaughter. Numerous nieces and nephews, the Smith, Douglas, Bremar, McIntosh, Simmons and Bean family; godchildren: Karen, Kenyatta and Lanel; special friends Bernette, Carol, Sandy, Eunice, Ella, Iona, Pat, June, Ciss, Rochelle, Haney family, the Scott family, Spice Hill and Keith Hall Rd neighbors and numerous other friends and family.
