At approximately 2:30pm today [May 23] The Bermuda Fire Services responded to a brush fire at the Spittal Pond Nature Reserve. At least two fire trucks and at least half a dozen personnel attended the blaze at the 64-acre South Shore wildlife sanctuary. They quickly brought the fire under control.
