Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Kamala Shirlene Smith [nee Simons] of 21 Harvey Road, Paget PG 04, on 12 July 2016 in her 34th year.

Kamala was the beloved wife of Nakia B. Smith, daughter of Kenneth and Shirlene Simons, loving mother of Kenori Simons and Nakai Smith, step-mother to Naquan, Nacori and Naria Smith, sister of Kelley Simons, Relda Woods, Kennette [Anthony] Tannock, Selena [Brian] Roach, Kennisha [Vivian] Young, Tamorral-Leigh Simons, father-in-law Leroy Wilson and sister-in-law Nicole Smith.

A service celebrating her life will be held Today, 20 July 2016 at First Church of God, 1 First Church Lane, North Shore Road, Pembroke HM 14 at 2.00p.m.

Colours may be worn.

Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kamala’s memory to P.A.L.S via their website, or Agape/Friends of Hospice Bank of Butterfield a/c 20006060431505100. An account has also been set up to aid her young children. Please request the information from the family.

Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at the church Today, 20 July 2016 from 1.00p.m. – 1.55p.m.

Kamala was the niece of Philip [Elvita], Glensworth [Deborah], Earlston Bailey / Rosemarie Simmons, Doris, Kevin [Paulette] and Cornell [Scherene] Bailey, Colleen [Andre] DeSilva, Clayton Jr., Wayne [Diana], Dennis and Duane DeRoza, Taheerah [Abdul] Hakeem, Dianne [Frankie] Furbert, Rochelle [John] DeSilva, Faith [Leonard] Gilkes, Nouvelle DeRoza, Donna Christopher and Louella Benjamin and numerous great aunts and uncles.

Other survivors are special cousins Chardonnai DeSilva, Devone, Nadanja and Nishanthi Bailey, special friends Vinzie Zuill, Hilary Evans Turner, Erica Rance Mills, Mark Anderson, Wallizia Minors, godparents and several other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Kamala was predeceased by grandparents Cleo and Thelma Bailey, Vernice DeRoza, Norton Pearson, mother-in-law Karen Wilson and Brian Smith.
