Adam Bruce Tavares

A Mass celebrating the life of Adam Bruce [Small Man] Tavares, beloved son of Johnny Tavares Jr. [Gaye] and Judy Jarrell. Husband of Gabriela Tavares cherished and loving father of Savannah and Ryan Tavares; beloved brother of Michael [Josephine], Jake [Kasi] Tavares, Kaylyn [Matt] and Jordan Jarrell; in his 52nd year of Southampton, will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026 at St Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Smith’s at 3:00pm. Interment will follow the Mass at the Holy Calvary Cemetery in Devonshire.
He is lovingly survived by nephews Shane Tavares and Izaiah Waldie, nieces Cheyenne, Mia and Remi Tavares. Uncles Joe [Donna] and David Tavares; aunt Betty-Anne [Johnny] Every, cousins Troy [Sharon] and Darren [Stacey] Every, God daughter Taylor James, special friend Aaron James, and many friends and extended family here and abroad too numerous to mention. Adam was predeceased by best friend Jason [Bird] Barclay amongst others dear to him.
Adam was a devoted father and a man of deep compassion, faith, and humor. A passionate Liverpool Football Club supporter, his family invites attendees to wear colors, and those who wish may honor Adam by wearing their best Liverpool attire.
He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.
