We, the family of Alice “Cuttie” Leonie Talbot, nee DeSilva of “Heather Cottage Too”, 3 Pompano Lane, Southampton, in her 93rd year, daughter of the Late Stuart Gilbert & Helen [Joynes] DeSilva of Pembroke, announce her Celebration of Life service.
Alice leaves behind her family, of which she had a deep, devoted love for, and we loved her unconditionally, and are left to fondly cherish all the memories forged. Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Alice is survived by her Daughter: Sabrina Kirby, and Sons: Stuart Talbot [Deceased] Terri-lyn, and Henry Talbot III [Lisa]; Grandchildren: Henry Talbot IV [Melissa], Shannen Talbot, Alicia Lister [Dennis], Ryan Kirby, Jevon Talbot and Janae Talbot; Great grandchildren: Lennox Simmons and Mia Talbot; Nieces: Cherylann Rowling Spurway [Scotland], Valerie Rowling Rawlins [Vernon], Lovette Emery [USA], Maxine Smith, and Sandra Butterfield Smith [Kovan]; Great Nieces: Angela Bruce Heath and her daughters Angelae and Alayah; Nephews: Matthew Spurway, Cameron Rowling Bridgewater, Derrick Emery, and Christopher Smith; Special family & friends: Cranston & Marlene Warren, Terry Murray, Roxanne Franks, Majorie Talbot, Sandra Smith, Brenda Astwood, Tyra [Jones] Witherspoon, Kim Thompson, Barbara Grey, Deeander Bannister, Gabrielle DeShields, Bobby Smith Sr, Gregory Minors, Talbot family, Lister family, her De Silva, Joynes, Brooklyn, NY, Jones and Shelton families. Alice also has many family and friends around the world, too numerous to mention.
Mom requested that we take this opportunity to express our thanks and gratitude for the many patrons of our businesses, known as La Petite Boutique & Sabrina’s.
In accordance with her wishes, a graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 11th, 2025, at 5:00 pm at St. John’s Church Cemetery, St. John’s Road, Pembroke.
Guests are encouraged to wear colors. [PINK was her favorite].
