A celebration of life service for Alice Genesta Dillas O’Mara, who peacefully departed this life in her 101st year on July 21, 2025, at the homestead – 15 Aerial View Road, Devonshire, FL03; Daughter of the late Ruth O’Mara; beloved mother to Roland, Malcolm [May], Winton and Carlena O’Mara, the late Calvin [Jennifer] and Wendell O’Mara. Loving sister to Sheila Ming, Freda Black, Pastor Patrick O’Mara, the late Clarence O’Mara and Dunn O’Mara, will be held TODAY Saturday, August 9th, 2025, at The Salvation Army North Street Citadel, Hamilton at 2.00pm. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the church on Saturday from 1pm – 1:50pm. Interment will follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 69 Middle Road, Paget.
Predeceased by grandparents Helena Jane [Place] O’Mara and William L.B. O’Mara, sisters-in-law Mary O’Mara and Marjorie O’Mara and brothers-in-law Vivian Ming and Elmore “Turp” Black. Grandchildren Arianna, Royale, Crystal, Jecal, Callisa, the late Carol-Ann Bailey and Erivn O’Mara, special grand daughter Gladwina O’Mara and special grandsons Owen Millett and Vernon Wears Jr., Great-Grandchildren Jerome, Jahkai, Kavone, Royce, Jerrah, Jezori, Jélin, Cani, Mahkeé, Dayce. Great-Great-Grandchildren Armani, Kaiser, Noah, and Delijah. A host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and dear friends – too many to name, but each are deeply cherished.
