Angela Bernice Wright

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angela Bernice Wright of Paget. Angela was born in England in 1929 and passed peacefully away on 2 November 2022.
She was educated in England and acquired her diploma in nursing, which enabled her to work in England and eventually she went on to nurse on military ships enabling her to travel to many countries. Angela loved to travel.
She came to Bermuda in the late fifties to nurse in The King Edward Memorial Hospital where she met Robert Wright and they eventually married.
When she retired, Angela and Bob took many cruises and traveled to many other countries including England where she visited both her and Bob’s families.
Bob died in 2004 and Angela continued her travel along with staying active in her church and continuing to enjoy many gatherings with friends. After she entered Westmeath Residential Home she remained active with friends until a couple of years ago.
She has been missed a great deal by her close friends and family during the past year and will continue to be missed by friends and family alike.
