Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Carolyn Helena Paynter.
A Homegoing service for Carolyn Helena Paynter, beloved wife of the late John Thomas Paynter Sr., beloved daughter of the late Onslow and Helena Wilson. Loving mother to Zena Brangman [Gary], Erica Bremar [Miegel] and Ernest Paynter [Trakia], in her 75th year of Mullet Bay Road, St. George’s. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Today, September 17th 2025 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 10 Ewing Street, Hamilton.
There will be no viewing.
Interment to follow at Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery, St. Georges.
Carolyn is lovingly survived by stepchildren: Roslyn DeShaun Paynter, John Thomas Paynter Jr. [Becky]; grandchildren: Wesley, Ricai, Jahkai, Shawn, E’Rynn, Siobhan, Zakina, Izeya, DeJavon, Sophia, Devonte, Johnae, Johneko and Dachey; great- granddaughter: A’Zarah; sister: Jeananne Sampson [Gregory]; nephew: Jamarco; brothers-in-law: Colin [KP], George, Walter [Busso] and Gladwin Paynter; sisters-in-law: Rae Paynter, Florence [Lilly] Walker, Joan Moore, Dorothy Aubrey and Winifred Albouy [Leon]; godchildren: Kandra Walker and Calvin ‘Patches’ Dill; special friends: Rae, Debbie, Jackie, Marjorie, Charlette, Leslie, Peggy, Linda, Louella and Winifred and many others too numerous to mention. Colors may be worn.
