Clyde Lawson Mansfield Darrell

A celebration of life service for Mr. Clyde Lawson Mansfield Darrell, dearly loved and cherished husband of Dawn Yvette Darrell; son of the late Lawson and Eileen Darrell; devoted and loving father to Katrina [Nathan] and Clyde Jr. [Lisa]; and proud, adoring grandfather [papa] of Josiah, Anaiah, Aaria, and Aiden Darrell, in his 72nd year, of 10 Bridle Hill, Smiths, will be held at First Church of God, North Shore Road, Pembroke, Saturday June 28th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at Holy Trinity Church, Cemetery, Hamilton Parish. Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at AMIS Memorial Chapel, 8 Khyber Pass, Warwick Friday June 27th from 6:00 p.m – 8:00 p.m.
Clyde is survived by his siblings: Jeanette Baker, Laura Franklin, Sheldon ‘Boozer’ Darrell, Heather Darrell, Suzanne [William] Rackley, Pamela Adams, and Jearmain Thomas; aunt Illys Richardson; nephews Wayne [Sheila] Darrell, Valdez Darrell, DeUntay [Shereika] Darrell, Kanhai ‘Jimpsey’ Darrell, Billy [Elin] Rackley, Joey [Susan] Rackley, Calvin Thomas Jr, Craig [Monique] Bridgewater, Kyle Bridgewater, Vincent Jr [Felicia] Minors, Antoine [Jessica] Minors, Jovon Minors, Eric [Kornelia] Leverock; nieces Roslyn Miller, Karen Darrell, Tellay Butterfield, Sharon Maybury, Zalika Leverock. Also surviving are sister-in-laws Marva Bridgewater and Waverley [Vincent Sr] Minors; brother-in-law Troy [Olga] Anderson and many other family and friends too numerous to mention. Clyde was predeceased by his brother Gladwyn Darrell, nieces Stacey Adams and Fredrina Darrell, nephew Benson Hodgson, brother-in-laws Victor Bridgewater, Wendell Leverock, Calvin Thomas and George Baker. Clyde was a member of several organizations and was fondly known and respected by many in Bermuda and abroad. The family would like to make special mention of the Grotto Bay Beach Resort family and the Bermuda tourism fraternity; they also wish to express their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the outpouring of support and condolences received from all during this difficult time.
