We regret to announce the passing of Coralita E. Darrell on July 20, 2024, in her 99th year.
Coralita is the wife of the late Gilbert O. Darrell, loving mother of Gilbert C. Darrell [late daughter-in-law Syl] and daughter Miriam [Mimi] Smith [son-in-law Graham Smith]. She is the daughter of the late Alfred Robert Seaman and the late Winifred Smith Seaman.
Interment of ashes will be at St. Mark’s Church Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. today, September 14th.
She is sister to Nelda Dyer and the late Alfred Seaman Jr. [Cecily], Marvin Seaman Sr., Rudolph Seaman Sr., and Vincent Seaman Sr. She is the loving Grandma and Nana to grandsons Gilbert Artie Darrell [Ryleigh], Geoffrey Smith [Courtney], and Marc Smith [Chalsey], and Nana D to great-granddaughter Myla.
She was predeceased by adopted daughter Menbere Baker, her sons Blayne and Robelle Baker, and nieces Laverne Furbert, Cheryl Eve, and nephews Robert Seaman, Eugene Seaman, and Darrell Fubler. She is survived by nieces Maxine Esdaille, Winnifred Simmons, Shirlene Raynor, Dawn Simons, Cora Bean, JeanAnn Stovell, Mildred Wilson, and nephews Vaughan Fubler, Edwin Darrell, Marvin Seaman, Glenn Fubler, Rudolph Seaman, Vincent Seaman, and George Dyer Jr. She also leaves to cherish her memory special family friends “Aunt Darrell” to the entire Douglas Family; Merle Brock Swan, Norris Burgess and family, and is fondly remembered by The Dawn Swimmers and the Darrell and Seaman families. Special thanks to her caregivers Atariah Morgan, Brenda Outerbridge, and Merline Cumberbatch.
Colourful and comfortable attire is encouraged.
