A celebration of life service for Cynthia Ursula Ann Lottimore [nèe Basden], daughter of the late Clyde and the late Ethel Basden, and mother of Donald Clyde Lottimore, of #6 Secretary Lane, St George GE 05, in her 87th year, will be held Wednesday, March 18th, at 11 am, at St Mary’s Anglican Church, 2 St Mary’s Road, Warwick. Interment will follow at St Mary’s graveyard.

Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, March 17th, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Richard Allen A.M.E. Church Sunday School, 23 Queen Street, St. George’s, Bermuda. Cynthia is survived by her son Donald C. Lottimore and his wife Margaret, her grand-daughter Dominique Lottimore, her step children Michelle Lottimore-Barnett, Beverle Lottimore, Alan Brangman [Patti], Micheal Richardson, Valerie Ball [Wayne], her sisters-in-law Phyllis H. I. Basden, Pauline Basden, Bernelle Williams, Ruth [Sissy] Bascome, Ellen Lottimore-Hughes Shirlene Bascome, her nephew Paul Basden [Elisha], her nieces Valetta Basden-Sampson [Tyrone], Lynelle Williams, Nadine Basden, great-nephew William Basden [Vakita], great-nieces Nicole Williams, Tanya Gordon, Haile Hilaire, her godchildren Kimberley Joslyn, Michelle Jackson, Daron Lowe, her village Wilma Lowe, Joan Joslyn, Maxine Burns, Rose Douglas, Velma Anderson, Audrey Bassett, and her beloved caregivers Malaé B-Minors and Alaé-Jah Minors of Sweet Care.

The family gratefully acknowledges the management and staff of Hibiscus Care and her Richard Allen A.M.E. Church family. Cynthia is pre-deceased by her loving husband Donald Fieldon Fitzroy Lottimore, her sister Muriel, brothers Earlington, William, Julian and Sinclair, her niece Beverly Smith, and sisters-in-law Phyllis I. and Gloria Basden.

She will be remembered by numerous other family members, friends, and former colleagues here and abroad, as well as the countless students whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Victor Scott School [formerly The Central School], 4 Glebe Road, Pembroke, HM 15, HSBC 010 172534 001.
