David Mello of Rubber Tree Lane, Warwick passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in his 75th year. David had a true servant’s heart. He loved his family, he loved the ocean, and he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
David is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 48 years, Irene; daughters, Nicola Gray [Kyle] of Tampa, FL and Caitlyn Eve [Teniko] of Warwick; grandchildren, Hailey, Lexie, Jude, and Grayson; sister, Sandra Gorniak [Rick] of Clark, WY; sisters-in-law, Emily Harvey, Anna-Marie Troja [Ermete], and MJ Tumbridge; nephews, Stefano Troja and Steven Rance [Melody]; nieces, Monique Carvelho [Matthew], Christina Troja, and Heidi Shelley-Mello [Missy]. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Gippy Mello and brother, Anthony Mello.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 5th, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Evangelical Church of Bermuda, Mission Road, Paget. David will be buried at sea on Saturday or Sunday, May 6th or 7th as the weather allows with details to follow as they become available.
