Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Dennis Arlen Wainwright, beloved husband to Natalie Wainwright, son of the late Frederick Wainwright and Adrie Wainwright nee Trott, will be held at 11:00 am, today, January 3, 2025 at St. Paul’s AME Church, Hamilton. Interment will follow the service at St. Mark’s Anglican Cemetery, South Road, Smith’s.
There will be no viewing.
Dennis leaves to cherish his memory, daughters, Deborah Wainwright, Paula Thomas and son Dennis Wainwright Jr. [Doya]; grandson D’Andre Wainwright; Sisters, Muriel [St Clair] Simmons and Eloise Jenkins; brother Morris [Pamela] Wainwright; sister-in-laws Gladys Wainwright and Chrisetta Allen; brother-in-laws Gladwin Trott and David [Janice] Trott and many more relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Dennis was predeceased by sister Ruby [Webster] Simons and brothers Herbert and Gilbert [Edith] Wainwright.
