Bulley-Graham-Rawlins Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of the late Mrs. Ellen Gibbons, in her 91st year, of Pembroke Parish, beloved wife of the late Edward William “Buster” Gibbons, loving mother of the late Paul Gibbons, and loving twin sister of the late Margaret Atwood.

Ellen is survived by her daughter, Beverley McLean [Kenneth]; grandchildren, Erin McLean, Christopher McLean, Brenton McLean [Julie], and Sarah Ladouceur [Grant]; and great-grandchildren, Addisyn McLean, Sadie McLean, Parker Ladouceur, Logan McLean, Finley McLean, Dylan McLean, and Hunter Ladouceur. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, David Atwood [Margaret], Donna Viney [Paul], Deborah Atwood, Daniel Atwood, Matthew Viney [Frannie], Adam Viney, and William Viney, along with other relatives and friends.

Special thanks are extended to Dr. Catherine Wakely, Millie Whitter, and the staff at Westmeath for their love and care. Remembered with love by June Rebello and Meredith Wakefield.

The funeral service for the late Mrs. Ellen Gibbons will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Methodist Church, St. George’s Parish. Interment will follow immediately after the service at St. George’s Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George’s. JROC Communications will livestream the service on [www.twitch.tv/jroctv2000].
