Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Eric ‘Pete’ Roosevelt MacDonald Peterson.
A homegoing service for Eric ‘Pete’ Roosevelt MacDonald Peterson, beloved husband of the late Carol Peterson, son of the late Grace Peterson and Edward ‘Polly’ Smith, loving father to Malodie Julio [Clyde], Marita Grimes, Erica Jones[Charles] Mother of the children Phyllis Peterson, in his 83rd year of 8 Boundary Lane, St. Georges, will be held today, February 28, 2025, at St. Johns Anglican Church at 11am. There will be no viewing.
Interment to follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by granddaughters – Triquia Simmons [Kalijai], Kylisha Odoli [Alessandro], Janae Trott [Lateef], Chiante Roberts, Saimya Grimes. Great grandsons – Caede Simmons, Greyson Trott, great granddaughters – Jaia and Demi Simmons. Brothers – Rance ‘Buddy’ Williams [Ann], Brooke Hassan, Shurki Ali. Sister-in-law’s – Albertha Darrell [Elliot], Effie Peterson, Barbara Joell [Eugene]. Special niece – Caro Peterson, special nephew – Brenton Peterson. Nieces – Charmette Phillip, Rhonda Dean, Rodericka Griffith, Zipporah Yeshurum, Ellisa Weekes, nephews: Craig ‘Bubbles’ Darrell, Jamal Williams.
Close special friends – the Dowling family, the East End Mini Yacht Club, the St. George’s RAA Club, Milly and Teddy Swainson, Myron ‘Goat’ Brangman, Gregory Nesbitt, numerous dear family and friends too many to mention. Eric was pre-deceased by siblings Roddy ‘Pete’ Peterson, Pastor Ronald ‘Ronnie’ Smith and Diane Peterson. Color may be worn.
