Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Mr. Ernest Chesterfield “Cat’ “Stevie” Trott Sr.
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Ernest Chesterfield “Cat’ “Stevie” Trott Sr. Loving son of the late Cecil and Liliian Trott [nee Grant]. Beloved husband to M. Rosemarie “Rose” Trott [nee Fubler]. Devoted father to Beverley Trott, and the late Ernest “De” Jr., and Stevie “Fly” Trott. Grandfather to Ernest “Rieko” Trott, Jahni Trott, and Aalayah Barnett-Trott. Great grandfather to ILAH Trott in his 82nd year of 7 Cove Valley Road, St. George’s.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Christ Anglican Church in Devonshire, on Friday November 7th, 2025, at 11:00a.m. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Christ Anglican Church in Devonshire. Viewings will be held Thursday November 6th, 2025, at our Orchid Chapel from 6:00p.m.- 8:00p.m. and on Friday November 7th, 2025, at Christ Anglican Church from10:00a.m -10:50a.m.
He was the cherished brother of Earlin [Alma] Trott, Mitchell “Black B” Trott, Delores “Dolly” Thomas [Lionel Thomas Sr.], and Madeline Trott. He was admired by his nieces and nephews Gwendolyn Hill, Roberta Tucker, Elizabeth Ball, Sandra Trott, Liser Dill, Cecily Smith, Sharlene Ascento, Joan Ascento, Lenora Caines, Roydell Neverson, Roslyn York, Roseland Parks, Freedom Charles, Johnnel Booth, Tanya Thomas, Shammara Simmons, Robert Lee Jr., David Lee, Derrick Lee, Sedrick Trott, Clarence Trott, Dennis Trott, Henry Ascento, Gary Ascento, Ondrey Ascento, Earlin Trott Jr., Mitchell Trott, Terry Trott, Perry Trott, Roger Trott Jr., Ra’John Trott. He has numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Cecil “Tommy” [late Phyllis], Clarence “Squint”, Colin, Raymond, Roger [Gina], Bert, Nancy, Angela “Angie” Trott, Julia “Jewels” Lee [late Robert], and Joan “Patsy” Napier [Leslie] and nephews Cecil Lee, Allan Trott, Brian Trott, Harold Trott, Richard Trott, Sinclair Trott, Keith Trott, Ra’Shun Trott, and Lionel “Smokey” Thomas Jr.. In-laws Leon Fubler, Leonie Woolridge, Judy Fubler, Effie Peterson and Andrew Ascento.
Special friends Calix Smith Sr., Benjamin Francis, Michael Glasgow, Kelly Zuill, Albert Woolridge, Wayne Mathews, Lionel Woolridge, Andre Hassell, Beverley Powell, Jean Burgess, Bernette Payne, Vera Sandy, Eddie and Sandra Armstrong, Steve and Juanita Shaw, and the Cardoza family.
