It is with regret that we announce the passing of Frances Irleen Moniz [nee Judd], daughter of the late Peace Georgina Vickers [nee Judd], beloved mother of Arthur Judd, Gina Smith [Shaun], Andrea Jackman, The late Larry Moniz [Maria], and Morris Moniz [Patty].
Children’s father the late Lawrence Moniz Sr.
Frances was a long-time resident of #13 Turtle Place in Southampton in her 87th year. Left behind to mourn her are grandchildren Laquita [Rodney], Elethur, Christina [Andrew], Crystal, Laura, Jeral, Kori, Morissa [The Late] and Brittney [Marcus]. Great grandchildren, Ostin, Orie, O’mara, Elena, Quannae, Adonis, Alaia, Seth, Alicia, and Charlotte. Sisters Barbara Thomas [Lewis], Jennifer Kennedy [Jim the late], Sandra Drummond [Neville], Mother-in-law Ms. Edith Moniz [The late]. In-laws Edward Moniz [Sandra the late], Harry Moniz [Rhonda], Anita Skater [The Late], and the late Franklin Moniz. Nieces Bobby-Lou, Cynthia, Tina, Pamela, Dana, Cindy, Rhonda, Tisha, Terry-Lynn and Sureaka. Nephews Harry Arorash, Rodney, Keith [The late], Andrew [The Late], Edward Jr., Franklin, Paul, Calae, and Harry Moniz. Cousins Antoinette [The late Manuel], Allison [Raymond], and David [Joanne]. The Vickers Family, Lucinda Judd, Helen Roberts, Rhoda, Linda, Kathleen, Grace [The late], Ferdinand Arnold [The Late], Frank Arnold, the Arnold’s Market Family, surrounding area neighbors, and many friends and acquaintances too numerous to mention. May we not forget her trusted and loved family pets Shadow and Kiba. Frances will be remembered for being a loving, helpful, generous, compassionate, forgiving and God-fearing woman who lived a good life.
She will be missed but never forgotten. The Home Going Service will be held at The Southampton Seventh Day Adventist Church on Middle Road in Southampton, Thursday August 28th at 1pm.
Interment will follow immediately after the service at the St. Anne’s Church Cemetery. Viewing will be held on August 27th at Augustus Funeral Home on Elliott Street Hamilton between 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. also at The Southampton Seventh Day Adventist Church on Middle Road in Southampton on Thursday, August 28, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.
