Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Frederick Roland “Dickty” Trott Jr,.
A graveside service for Frederick Roland “Dickty” Trott Jr, beloved husband of the late Shirley Trott, son of the late Frederick Trott Sr and Melba Trott, beloved father of Anthony [Sally] Trott, Lawrence [Carol] Trott, Melba Hendrickson, Garfield, Craig and Kent Trott and brother of Millan [Debra] Trott of Aurora, Colorado and the late Inez May [Waldron] Copeland in his 85th year of 11 Wellington Lane, St George’s will be held at St Peter’s Cemetery, St George’s on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 1pm.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Garwin Francis and Chimere [Dante] Taylor of the UK, Wanda [Ché] Murray, Collisha Hendrickson and Colin [CJ] Hendrickson; great grandchildren Garzaya Pitcher-Francis, the late Tiffanelle Pitcher-Francis, Tizzamaya Pitcher-Francis, Kimai Hendrickson, Caleo Hendrickson, Maxc Hendrickson and Memphis Murray.
Also surviving are nephews Ruan, Darren [Ann Brecke] and Gavin [Bridgett] Copeland of Colorado, Anthony [Kimberly] Copeland of Chicago, Illinois, Marcus Trott of Colorado, nieces Tiffany Trott of Oklahoma and Shanna Trott of Colorado; sister- in-law Winifred [Erwin] Jones and brother-in-law Gary Smith and numerous other relatives and friends; goddaughter: Marcia Smith and former teammate Ronnie Madeiros; special friend Roland “Sharky” O’Mara and former cricket teammates Dennis Wainwright. Calvin “Bummy” Symonds, Neville Darrell, Eldon Raynor, Alfred “Fleas” Hall, Lee Raynor, Clarence Parfitt, Douglas “Blip” Morris, Barry DeCouto, Barry Sousa and Ed “Tinty” Ming.
Special thanks to the staff at the Sylvia Richardson Care Facility and the King Edward Memorial staff in the Gordon and Perry Wards.
The service will be live streamed starting at 1pm and may be viewed via TNN Facebook/TNN Bermuda ‘Live as it Happens’.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required and social distancing observed.
