A Graveside service for Gathan Bright [Jackie] Lathan of Sunset View Rest Home, Southampton formerly of Crawl Hill in his 73rd year, son of the late Lefroy Sr. and Frederica Lathan nee Davis, loving father to Stacey Lathan [Sonya Gibbons- mother], brother of Thomas “Joe” [Josephine], Jordon [Christine], Fredrick O’Neil [Tequila], Althea Belloquet [Clency] and Juanita Lathan, the late Lefroy [Jr.], Herman, Davis, Noel and Graham Lathan, Nelson and Gary Steede and Marylou Ratteray, will be held at The Holy Trinity Church today Thursday, March 9, 2023 at 1:00 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: K’wonde Lathan and Kevonte-Jennings-Lathan; sisters-in-law: Kathleen, Jean; numerous nieces and nephews; friends: Colin Hayward [Uncle], Noel Hodgson, Paula Jones [NY], Patricia and Family, Trevor Lindsay, Angela James and family, Ord Road family, Seth Burt, Maintenance Department of KEMH; special sister in law: Josephine Lathan. Special thank you to Sunset View Rest Home, Bendicion Seniors Home and Serenity Garden Nursing Homes, KEMH Staff and Security, Ms. Trott and the Dialysis Unit, Dr Mahesh Reddy, Langston Cariah, Project Ride, Capri Keep it Moving staff and the Augustus Funeral Home.
