Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – George Scott Smith.
A Homegoing service for George Scott Smith, husband to Lorraine Smith, son of Joanne and the late George Smith, loving father to Christian, Jonathan and Joshua Smith, step-son Jason, brother to Sean and Sonya Smith and Stacey Burt [Smith] [Aaron], in his 58th year of 31 North Shore Road, Pembroke, West, will be held at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, Southampton, today, November 27, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Lovingly survived by aunts: Velda Ming, Denise Nanette, Alice Williams; nieces: Ashley, Kashia, Kasheema, Amali, Azaire, Amayah, Sh’Nyah, Sh’Nade; great niece: Arianne; nephews: Tony, Azrah, Syhon, Azai; great nephews: Kajai and Arai; numerous relatives and friends here and abroad.
George Smith was predeceased by grandmothers: Olive Smith and Loretta Kauppinen; grandfathers: Hubert Smith Sr., John Kauppinen; uncles: Hubert Smith, John Kauppinen.
