Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Geraldine-[Dolly] Rosanna York [nee Augustus]
A homegoing service for Geraldine Rosanna York, beloved mother of Rev. Karon York, Olivia Peniston [Gary], Melita McFarlane, Winston N. York & Wynston E. York [Brandy][USA]. Grandchildren: Ricardo [Judy], Roderick [Megan] & Ryan Nesbitt, Kesia, Keishun, Keimira, Kinte & Kimori York.Great Grandchildren: Danari, Myami, Jasmin, Ki-Yarie, Kingsley & Rylan.
Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and very good friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Agape House and the best caregivers God could have sent us in Chavon “Peaches” Smith & Azzar McDonald.
Geraldine was predeceased by parents Irene Albertha and William Etelbert Augustus, siblings Etheline Boyles, Myrtle Baisden, Arthur, Jeremiah, and Edward Augustus.
A service will be held at Heritage Worship Center, 59 Dundonald Street, Hamilton HM 10, Tuesday 10th of September at 11:00. Interment to follow at St. John’s Church Cemetery, Pembroke.
Visitation will be held on Today, Monday, September 9th ,2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:00pm only.
Colours can be worn as her favorite colour was light purple.
