It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gladwin Anthony [Toe] Dill, beloved son of the late Barbara and Samuel Dill, loving husband to Delores Cholmondeley-Dill, loving father to Tonica Adams-Ray [Mark], Tamara Stevens [Clifford], the late Tokia Russell, Torika Cholmondeley [Tyone], Antonio Russell, Dion Cholmondeley, Torie Russell [Cheykhun], Antwan Russell, and honorary daughters Monika Hewey, and Laurie Wilkinson.
Loving brother to Janice Stovell, the late Hilgrove [Burtsie] and Vernon Dill, Pamala Doucet [Errol], Noelette Astwood [Glenn], Dawn Smith [Kavin], brother-in-law Hilton Cholmondeley [Deborah], loving nephew to aunts Lois Weeks, Valeria Butterfield, Sylvia Hassan, Darleen VanPutten and Joyce Simmons, uncles Milton “Hanks” Dill [Shirley] and Carlton Dill in his 73rd year of Farmstead Lane, Sandys. A funeral service will be held at the Flora Duffy Stadium AKA the National Stadium on Sunday, 8th of October 2023, at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, 7th of October 2023, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Augustus Funeral Home, Elliot Street, Hamilton.
Gladwin is also survived by grandchildren Whitney Allen [Mckinley], Zaniyah Ray, Jayde Russell, Jaylen & Samori Stevens, Enrique Russell, Tikoa Russell, Tazara Pitcher, Tyree & Torhy Fubler, Mhila Russell, Yara Russell, Akiko & Akaio Russell, Daley & Dylan Outerbridge, Talia Simons, Mahli Russell & T’orie Russell, Amauri Russell, Amir Russell, Anagi Hypolite-Russell, Nyomi Ming, and honorary granddaughters Zaria Codrington, and Khyle Wilkinson. Great-grandchildren Esa Allen, Raya & Rhyli Wells, Peace Russell, 18 nieces and nephews, and 33 great nieces and nephews.God Children Anthony Bell, Jahmel Samuels, Chrissy Burgess, Joleesa Holdipp, Corey Broadbelt, Oscar Rogers, Troy Lewis, Sheena Douglas, Braxton Steede.
