Gladwin “Dewey” Henry Trott

Gladwin “Dewey” Henry Trott, son of the late Gladys & Dewey Trott, beloved father of Kavon Trott, Nicole Trott and Jessica Trott- Astwood, and treasured grandfather of Arlo Astwood-Ahad, of Valley Heights, Devonshire, in his 90th year, peacefully entered into rest.
He is the brother of Natalie [the late Dennis] Wainwright, David [Janice] Trott, Crisetta Allen, and the late Sedelle Ming, Lynette, Janet & Iris Trott.
A Service of Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Church, Devonshire, on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 4.00 p.m. Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Edward Ming, William [Nadia] Ming, Sharon [Frank] Dublin, Shirlene Santucci, Robin, Ralph [Francine], Cassandra [Mark] Trott, Gloria [Roderick] Edwards, Dorna Phillips, Malcolm [Donna], Jennifer, Ghale, Keith [Candice] Trott, Debra & Dennis [Doya] Wainwright, Paula Thomas, Fonda Davis, Andre Allen, and Yolanda [Clark] Adams.
Cherished nephew: Deane Trott.
He will be remembered with love by his special friends Edward Darrell, his Christ Church Family, and members of the Leopards Club, Somerset Cricket Club, Ocean View Golf Club, Blue Water Anglers Club, Devonshire Recreation Club and his colleagues from the BELCO, where he served for 35 years.
