AMIS Memorial Chapel regret to announce the death of Gladys Mary Louise Perinchief [nee Simons] daughter of the late Winifred Trott and the late Edmund Tom Harney beloved wife of the late Horace Edward Ansby Perinchief, devoted mother to Delma and Sherri-Lynn, grandmother to Wayne [Di] and great-grandmother to Nuri and his sister Ihsan in her 96th year of “Amour” #8 Port Close, Sandys MA 04. Funeral service will be held at St. James Church Somerset on Friday 13th of March 2026 at 11 AM. Viewing will be held at C.W. Pearman Funeral Home, Main Road, Sandy’s from 10:00 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. only.
Interment will follow in St. James Cemetery.
Gladys leaves to cherish her memory sister Anna Cann & family, sister-in-law Dorothy Morrissey and family, nieces and nephews and other family members & friends too numerous to mention; goddaughters Shirlene Bailey & Jeananne Smith; special friends Paul Hinds, Phillippa Burke, Victoria Tucker, Sharon Gibson, David and Carol Pitt, Quinn and Sheridan Talbot, Karen Tuzo, Frances Wilson, Wendy Lovell [Panama], Chris and Diane Holland [UK] Wilson and Victoria Bradford & family [ USA.] Special mention caregiver Margratta Francis.
Gladys was predeceased by brother Fabian Harney, and brothers-in-law Leslie, Rupert, Stuart Perinchief & Stuart Cann, sisters-in-Law Catherine, Lois and Gladys.
