Augustus Funeral Home regrets that we announce the passing of Glen Charles Ford, son of Janet Ford [nee Moore] and the late Charles Ford; loving father to Glenisha Simmons [Warren] and Detre Ford; brother to Jannell Ford [David]; Kim DeShields [Mitchell]; Candy Williams [Mark] and the late Connie Brangman [Ouemonde], adoring papa of Adia and Amali Simmons in his 66th year of Pembroke.
The funeral service will be held at 11.00am on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, at the Heard Chapel of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Pembroke. Visitation at Augustus Funeral Home Today Friday, January 2nd, 2026 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm, and again at the church from 10:00am to 10:55am on January 3rd, 2026.
Glen will be remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews, Calae Steede and Calvin Steede Jr., Mikayla and Gabrielle [Ryan] Deshields, and Nadia Williams.; his special brother-in-law Calvin Steede; his Wilson family, Brenda, Gail, Derek, Anty, Debbie and Shavana.
His uncles: Irving, Vincent, Denis [Cheri], Eldon and Elvin [Sandra] Moore, Rudy and Harry Ford; Aunts: Eunice Van-Lowe, Carolese Symonds, Cynthia [Oliver] Smith, Kathyann Steede, Ruby Furbert [Brian], Sherral, Joan and Pandora Moore, Eunice Caines; alongside a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and godchildren. He loved his North Village Family, the Devonshire Dock Crew, the Friswell’s Hill families, his Independence Club Family, the KEMH Dialysis Unit family, and his countless friends too numerous to mention.
