Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Mrs. Glenda Marie Gilbert.
A homegoing service for Mrs. Glenda Marie Gilbert, wife of the late Glynn Gilbert, daughter of the late John and Lillian Francis, loving mother to Rajai [Cynthia] and Rio Gilbert, sister to Lewis Vinson Francis, the late Arnold [Ann], Oscar [Hy, deceased], and Randolph Francis [Thelma, deceased], Irene Cameron, Charles Francis and Louise Godwin [Clarence, deceased], in her 84th year of 10 Brightside Crescent, Smith’s, will be held at St. Paul A.M.E. Church on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home, Today, December 5, 2025 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by grandmother to: Marcus Gilbert; step grandmother to: Warwick Pal. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews and other family, special friends and former students, too many to mention.
