Hilton Barclay Wingood

A celebration of life for Former Chief Inspector Hilton Barclay Wingood of “Hil-Bren” Cottage, Sandy’s in his 94th year. Beloved husband of Brenda Sharon Wingood and loving father to Lisa, Garon [Saidha] and the late Barclay Wingood; son of the late Elmo and the late Mildred Wingood; brother to Lillian Hall [Gladwin Doc] and late Marlene Swan [the late Dudley], will be held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at St. James Anglican Church, Sandys at 1:00pm. Interment will follow the service in St. James Cemetery.
A viewing will be held today, Monday 19th May 2025 at Pearman Funeral Home from 11:30 to 12:30pm.
He leaves to cherish his memory, granddaughters: Elise Wingood and Cerise Woodley; niece Jean-Anne Moe [Ian]; nephews Perry and Dudley Swan. Brother-in-law Mc Neil Morrissey [Mamie] and sisters-in law: Dorothy, Ysabel, and Etoile; godchildren: O’Brien Morrissey, Alan Gilbert and Gina Lister.
Hilton was predeceased by: Mother and Father-in-law James and Beatrice Morrissey, brothers- in-laws: Ronald [Chum], Webster Morrissey, Alan [Jimmy] Tucker, sister in-law Loretta Tucker.
Special friends: Dockyard Apprentices, Bermuda Police Force, Somerset Cricket Club, Westend Sailboat Club and Somerset Bridge family and other family and friends too numerous to mention.
