AMIS Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Howard Lawrence Trott Dill, predeceased by his loving wife Ruth W. Dill, his son Lawrence C. H. Dill [Karen], and his brother André Dill [Barbara].
Howard will be lovingly remembered by his sons Rev. Howard Dill, Jr. [Emily-Gail], Herman Dill [Dana], daughter Cynthia Cummings [Richard], sister Gretchen Tucker, brother Jerl Dill [Erma], Brothers-in-law: John Smith [Marilyn], the late Cecil Smith [Avery – deceased], grandchildren: Diarra Cummings, Imani Cummings, Jahkimmo Smith [Lashonna], Lorenzo Smith [Martina], Christopher Harold, Lakae Tavares [Andrew], Chrystal Dill, LaKai Dill, LaKea Dill, Brittany Dill, Aleah Dill [Jalani] Yahnick Madumere [Chīkè], Jehkio Bean-Lightbourne, great grandchildren: Justin Smith, Quaelhun Cameron, Deonae Gibbons, Laila Smith, Demetri Douglas, Amaiah Tavares, Noah Smith, Violette Suarez-Cummings, Ruby Suarez-Cummings, Kanya Dill, Azura Simmons, Lucas Jones, Nazri Simmons, Creed Adams, Saheed Simmons; special cousins: Hannah Joselyn Irving [Herman Irving II – deceased], Vian Irving, Farrah Irving-Wilkes, Herman Irving III, Christopher Irvine, special friend: Maxine Watson and numerous nieces, nephews.
A homegoing service will be held on Monday, June 9th, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Mount Zion A.M.E. Church, Southampton. Viewing at the church from 10:00a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow immediately after the service at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Southampton.
