It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Iola Loretha Burris [Nee Vanderpool], beloved wife to George Burris; loving mother to Wendi Moore Reynolds [Terry], Vanda Vanderpool Walker, Marcia Mcleod [Lloyd] Canada, and Richard Burris [Suzanne] Canada in her 86th year of Ottawa, Canada, formerly of Camp Hill, Southampton; daughter of the late Alice Maude Vanderpool and the late Joseph Josiah Vanderpool; loving sister to Brenda June Taylor, and the late Evelyn Johnson, Elnica Alvira Vanderpool, Albertha Vanderpool, Robert Vanderpool and Carlton Vanderpool.
Funeral arrangements have been confirmed for Friday March 20th, 2026. Further details will be announced later.
