We regret to announce the passing of Ivan Cornelius Nelson, JP, of 2 Rockaway Road, 11 Rockaway Deep, Southampton Parish SB02, in his 96th year. Father of Derek [Nongnuch Manajit], Deborah Nelson-Stovell [Jerome], Dionne Nelson Wade [Gregory], Wayne, and Lester [April Simmons]; grandfather of Alaina Nelson, Jordan Stovell, Gordon Nelson, Denzil Nelson, Aaron Nelson, Nicole Nelson, and Marcus Wade; great grandfather to James Nelson and Theo Nelson; son of Joshua and Clarita Nelson [both deceased, of Trinidad]; brother to Ora, Nerle [both deceased], Ferdinand [deceased], Winston [deceased] [Yanee Roopsingh] and Lester [Rosanna]; Vilma Nelson Stokes [deceased, mother of children]; special daughters Paula Nelson and Maria Nelson.
Funeral arrangements have been planned for Friday April 10th, 2026, 1:00 p.m., at St. Mary’s Church, Warwick.
