AMIS Memorial Chapel regrets to announce the transition of Joanne C.A. Burgess-Landy of St. George Bermuda. JoAnne was gifted to Lionel and Constance Mello in 1952.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 19th, 2025, at the Chapel of Ease Cemetery, Chapel of Ease Road, St. David’s, at 11:00 a.m.
JoAnne leaves behind to cherish her memory life-partner of 26 years Ronell B. Landy Burgess; daughter Shannell Astwood [Dorian], son Christopher Burgess [Terry] and pre-deceased by son Shannon Mello; stepchildren Jermine, KendAree and Cathy. Justin Landy [Maskela]. 5 grands and 2 great-grands. Siblings Juan Mello [Judy], Judy Williams, Bonnie-Rose Mello, Kimmie Mello [Sonya]; pre-deceased by brothers Joe and Jimmy Mello.
Special friends: Grace Dowling, Rev. Dr. Betty Furbert, Kelvin Steede, Tanya Harvey [UK] and Carolyn Welch.
