AMIS Memorial Chapel regret to announce the passing of Joshua Alexander Knight in his 93rd year, of Spice Hill Road, Warwick. Son of the late Egbert and Clementina Knight, loving and devoted husband to the late Gertrude Lilly-May “Blossom” Ingham Knight [nee Martin], Joshua was father to Daisy Knight, Dahlia Morrison, Vincent Morrison [Venetia] and Sophia Jones [Marcus]; Eldest brother to Herbert, Vincent and James Knight, Blanch Francis, Lena Knight and Alice Evans.
A homegoing service for Joshua Knight will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church [the Pink Church], on Friday, February 28, 2025 @ 2:00pm in the afternoon. Interment will follow the Homegoing Service at Wesley Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30pm.
Joshua will be remembered by his grandchildren Andrew Bryce, Carl Davis [Denise] and Kemar Douglas [Taneisha], Tamieka and Desmond Winter, Caleb and Abigail Jones, Moses Simmons, as well as his twelve great-grandchildren. The St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Family, The Cobb’s Hill Gospel Church Family, the Martin and Easton Family, his neighbors from Spice Hill and Khyber Pass.
Joshua was cared for by the diligent and attentive Medical Team at PALS, Dr. Brent Williams and his wonderful staff at Hope Healthcare and Urban Hearing, also The Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre. During his final months, Joshua was cared for by his loving and dedicated friend of the family, Hazel May Turner.
Joshua Alexander Knight was predeceased by his brother Joel Knight and grandson Donald Morrison.
