A homegoing service for Evangelist Joy Barbara Genevieve Fubler, beloved wife of the late Ivan [Bunny] Fubler, loving daughter of the late Albert and Matilda Hodgson, loving mother to Merle Williams, Beverley Cann, Maxine Simmons, Ivan, Dexter and Craig Fubler, Raymond Raynor [Evet], the late Gregory Tucker [Patricia] in her 93rd year of 31 Aubrey Road, Hamilton Parish will be held at First Church of God Northshore, Saturday June 14, 2025 at 11:00am.
Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
There will be no visitations.
Lovingly survived by Grandchildren, Shalanda [Derek] Thomas; Yinka Bartley, Yasmin and Keoki Cann; Danniel, Sean and Ebony Fubler, Kiwhana [Jason] Brown; Dwon Trott, Shadonna [Rickardo] Phipps, Kalvilicia Joell and Aisha Fubler; Njere and Raydon Fubler; Raushaun Fubler, Jahkima Kirkpatrick and Lekanna Smith-Fubler, Marc [Julia] and Marcia Tucker, Tricia [Michael] Hill, Gregory, Trey and Tristin Tucker; Raynelle Richards, Raymond and Callisha Raynor, Raynette Pitcher. 62 Great-Grandchildren, 10 Great-Great-Grandchildren. Pre-deceased by Grandson Munroe Tucker.
Sister: Emily Outerbridge, sister-in-law: Marion Brangman, special niece: Dr. Jacqueline Outerbridge, goddaughter Ardella Watson; special friends: Gloria Brangman, Myrtle Jones, Hilda Smith, Ruth Skinner, Evang Carolyn Armstrong, Gloria-Jean Trott, Grace Swan, Grace Clarke and The Borden Family [USA]. Numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Joy was Pre-deceased by brothers Stanley and Paul Hodgson; sisters Bernice DaCosta, Otives Doars, Pearl Walker, Gwendolyn Wallace and Joycelyn Jones; special friends Barbara Smith and Venetta Outerbridge.
