Julia Marie Beach

In loving memory of Julia Marie Beach [Sharp] who passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on March 7, 2023 in her 76th year. Julia is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, Millard “Beachy”; children Marcus Kermode [Anne], Abby Kermode, Carmen Tucker [O’Neil] and Marcelle Lawrence [Gary]; grandchildren Skye, Freyja, Max, Jackson, Trae, Tysen, Osei and Desmond.
Julia will be remembered as an educator that was passionate about non-traditional learning. Her impact will continue to be felt across the communities and those students she supported at Saltus Grammar School, Berkeley Institute, Bermuda College and The Adult Education School from which she retired as Director. Julia was named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International in appreciation of tangible and significant assistance given for the furtherance of better understanding and friendly relations among people of the world.
Julia and her infectious smile will be missed by her many friends at The Bermuda Bridge Club, Gillian’s Spa and by her special lifelong friends Carolyn & Dennis McDonald of Canada and Sigi & Peter Lorenz of Ireland.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate her life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Julia’s memory to PALS http://www.pals.bm.
