Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Mr. Kendall [Ken] Benjamin Harvey.
A celebration of life service for Mr. Kendall [Ken] Benjamin Harvey, in his 74th year, will be held at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church [Hamilton] today, Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at St Annes Cemetery Southampton.
Kendall leaves to mourn his beloved wife Ernestine [Tina] Evans, daughters Vinu Clay [Marcus] and Vashti Harvey [Cal], stepdaughters Kassie and Ariana Caines, siblings Eugene Harvey [Janette], Philippa Burke, Phyllis Harvey Caisey, and Veronica Harvey, brother-in-law, Donald Evans [JoAnn], sister-in-law, Nadine Henry [Alafia]. He was the adoring Papa of Ase Malik. Kendall had cherished relationships with his nieces Deborah, Iyabo [Robert], Janita [Ervin], Kai, Asha [Andrea] and Rodneyka; and nephews Kwame, Chinelo, Kenneth and Nicholas. He will be lovingly remembered by special friends Bobby Smith, Edgar ‘Biscuit’ Burrows, Patricia Francis, Barbara Anne Lowe, Karla Lacey, Cathy Lord, Sandra Quarles, Dennis Saunders, Jannell Ford, David Johnson, Llywelyn and Nan Trott, Anthony and Cheryl Alves, Malcom and Maureen Williams, Dale and Paul Young, Dennis Burrows, Robin Tucker, Norma-Anne Smith, Patricia Pogson Nisbett, Francine McMahon, Stacey Daniels, Kelly Astwood-Hodsol, John and Rogerlene Robinson, Ianthia Simmons-Wade, Elis and Michelle Frazzoni, Alan Lugo, Patricia Smith, Russell and Carolyn Courtney and other dear friends that are too numerous to mention. Kendall was predeceased by his late wife and mother of his children, Pam Smith Harvey, brother-in-law, Oliver Caisey, parents Clement and Rosalie Harvey, and in-laws John Evans and Dame Lois Browne-Evans. Kendall was a respected teacher and dedicated trade union advocate, a well-known taxi driver [1143] and an esteemed member of the Masonic Fraternity.
