AMIS Memorial Chapel regret to announce the passing of Lillian Ernestine Grant-Walters in her 85th year, of 99 Middle Road, Southampton; daughter of the late Arthur and Arlene James; loving and devoted wife to the late Louie Grant and the late Dr. Victor Walters; beloved mother of Roger Grant, Neville Grant [Nicole], and step-children Holly Marsh [Rick] and Craig Walters; sister of Blondie James [Judy] and Elvin James [Michelle] and the late Winfield James [Devinda], the late Lloyd James [Betty] and the late Cynthia Burnes [Lofty]; special sisters-in-law, Noreen James and the late Ianthia James.
A homegoing Service for Lillian Grant will be held at Southampton Seventh Day Adventist Church, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Viewing from 12:00 p.m. to 12:50 p.m., and interment will follow the Homegoing Service at the Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery, St. George’s. Visitation will be held at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Lillian is the cherished grandmother of Colin Grant, Taj Grant, Siraj Grant, Nayan Grant, and NyLi Grant, and step-grandmother to Ryan Marsh [Kim]; loving great-grandmother to Jasmine Grant and step-great-grandmother to Madison Marsh.
Lillian is also lovingly remembered by a host of nieces and nephews, special friends, and family: Ana Blanche [Rita] Wilkinson, Ana Varao, Lauren Grant, Karen Burchall, Janette Chentouf, Edilberto [Edil] Keleste, Judy Lamb, Phillip Rego, Ezekiel Burrows, and The Sunshine Seniors Club of the Southampton Seventh Day Adventist Church.
