We regret to announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lillian Marie Furtado in her 89th year.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Louise Mello, loving mother to David Furtado [Jasvir] and Deborah Davis [Robert]; grandson Jordan David Scott Furtado; great-grandson Josiah Goodwin Manuel Furtado; step-grandchildren: Jonathan Davis [Michelle], Sukhy Harman [Ben] and Gurdeep Kalsi [Ashton]; Sister to the late John D. Mello [Dee], Tony [Nadine] Mello, Arthur Arrenagado [Altimeza] and Manuel Arrenagado [Armarinda]; Nephews: Edward Arrenagado, Ernie Arrenagado and Mark Mello; Nieces: Mary Nicol, Beverly Plahn and Linda Lincoln and Special Niece Nicole Mitchell; very special friends Ernest and Brenda Madeiros; many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A special thanks to the Caregivers of Serenity Gardens for the years of dedication to the well-being of our mom namely, Janeika, Monique, Nino and Jenifer and many others too numerous to name.
A graveside service will be held at Holy Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire on Friday, 3rd January at 3:00 pm. There will be no viewing. Colours can be worn. Flowers may be sent or donations made to Serenity Gardens, HSBC Bank Bermuda Account Number 011-251493-011.
