The funeral service for Loretta [Lorretta] Beatrice Elise Tucker [nee Morrissey], in her 89th year of 4 Gatehouse Park, Sandys SB02, wife of the late Alan Bernard “Jimmy” Tucker; loving mother to Alan Jay Tucker and Alana Smith; daughter-in-law Alberta Dyer Tucker and son-in-law Shawn Smith will be held on Friday 17th January 2025 at St. James Anglican Church, Main Road, Sandys at 11:00am. Interment will follow the service in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, 14th January 2025 at St. James Church Hall, Main Road, Sandys from 7:00 to 8:30pm only.
She leaves to be dearly remembered by her dear grandchildren: Juana Burgess [Sergio], Shiloh Henderson [Krystal], Tanaya Waldron [Marquel], Ashleigh Wilson, Lanir Smith and Sabria Trott; great grandchildren: Serjunnae and Serjun Burgess, Serjuntae Young, Skye, Sarye and Shanyah Bean, Micah and Mateo Waldron; great-great grandchildren: Dillon, Emai, Avayah-rose, Omari; siblings: Brenda Wingood [Hilton], McNeil Morrissey [Mayolyn]; sisters-in-law: Dorothy, Etoile and Ysabel Morrissey; nieces: Carmen Bean, Leeann Hollis [Buddy], LeWanda Morrissey, Lisa Woodley; nephews: Wayne “Chum” Morrissey [Matilda], O’Brian Morrissey [Andrea], Loren Morrissey [Donna], Shannon and Shane Morrissey, Garon Wingood [Saidha]; special family: Millard “Cab,” Valerie and Allison Bassett, Romaine Bean, Freida, Clyde and Kimberley Best, Claudette Simmons and Roseanne Astwood; special friends and relatives: Peggy and Turben Delpeche, Rudolph “Huckabuck” Fubler, Mary Roblee, the Maybury Family, Dawnette White [Gary], Graham Maule, David “Doc” Burrows, and the Somerset Brigade Band; godchildren: Rhonda Furbert, Lynn Wade, and Dwayne Pearman.
Lorretta Tucker was predeceased by parents James and Beatrice Maud Morrissey [nee Sisson], husband Alan Bernard “Jimmy” Tucker, son Wendell “Boo, Money” Morrissey, siblings: Ronald “Chum” Morrissey [Ysabel] and Webster “Weppie” Morrissey [Dorothy], great-grandson Shijuan Mungal and special friends: Ovis Swan Davis, Stella Gilbert, Marva Todd, Gracelyn Guishard and Eugene “Duke” Wooldridge.
