The home-going celebration for Mrs. Lorna Almira [Pat] Ming Bulford Swan of #22 Tribe Road # 5 Paget in her 95th year, will be held 3:00 p.m. on Saturday 16th April, 2016 at Christ Church Devonshire and interment will follow immediately.
Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Church Hall SATURDAY ONLY from 2:00 – 2:50 pm.
Pre-deceased by her son, Gary Bulford, husbands Cyril Bulford and Henry Swan, and parents Mabel & Edward Ming. Loving mother of Lynn Dowdell [James], Delano Bulford [Lorna-Jeanne], Lornajean Marina, Kathy-Ann Moon [Varnell] and Velda & Vanda. Cherished grandmother of Shayne Richardson [Melinda], Raquel Bulford-Frazier [Ken], Jody Bulford, Almitra Ralphael-Charles [Selwyn], Genera & Varnell Jr. Moon, Kiera Bulford, Jakahn Dowdell, and Toshi Bulford. Much loved great-grandmother to Marquez & Chantal Richardson, Skai Bulford, Kaden Frazier, Elizabeth Weems, Gabriela, Marcos & Silvio Rodriguez-Moon, all of USA, and Aliah Raphael & Sheneil Burke of Trinidad.
She is also survived by her brother John Ming [Marie], long-time best friend Mrs. Eleanor Williams & family, the Bulford families, god-children, and numerous nieces & nephews of the Jubilee Rd Devonshire Ming family for whom she held a special place of love and kindness.
To honour the colourful and uplifting personality of Mrs. Swan, we ask that only bright colours be worn, and ladies please feel free to wear hats to commemorate her love for them and her participation in many hat shows.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Acton Alzheimers & Dementia would greatly be appreciated.
