With profound sorrow, family and friends of our beloved Louis Ryan Munro Smith of 42 St. Monica’s Road, Pembroke [Government Gate], share the sad news of his sudden passing in his 80th year. Munro was the only son of Louis Othman Smith and Dorothy Elah Smith [nee Fox], both deceased, and cherished brother of Julia Rosalie Dears and Valerie Elah Smith Pethen and special brother of Norman MacDonald Tucker. His family also include nieces and nephews Kurte Loescher [Heribert], Andre Williams [deceased], Mark Williams [LaVerne] ], Melissa Place [Daemon],  Erika Peterson [Eugene], Brian Smith [Tamecia] Lemuel Tucker [deceased], Gary and Edward Tucker and Doreen Mussenden; great nieces and nephews Kenya Godette [Trey], Timothy and Judah Peterson, Denise Bigelow [deceased], Jamoi and Giselle Smith, Tristan Loescher [Stacie], Lara Cherapau [Ilya], Kieron, Kaori and Kamari Placeand great-great nieces Daria and Zoe Cherapau. Godchildren: Tracey Richardson, Yolanda Richards and Keita Swan. Special friends: Malcolm Simons, Derrick Burrows and the staff of Tools and Equipment Ltd, Gary “Sid” Caisey, Perry Simmons, Keith Swan, Vernon Bridgewater, Patrick Hamlett, Keith Smith, Victor York, Dennis Browne, Roland O’Mara, Clayton Busby, Clive Burchall, Denny Richardson, Bermuda Long Riders Club, North Village Community Club, Thelma Simmons and a host of relatives and friends in Bermuda and overseas too numerous to mention.

A celebration of his life will take place Today, Friday, 10th October at 2.00 p.m. at St. John’s Church, Pembroke followed by the interment. There will be no viewing.

Colours may be worn: red and white, dashikis, African attire. The service will be live streamed by Jroc Communications [YouTube.com/jrocbda]
