Maxwell Cyril Burgess
A home-going service for Maxwell Cyril [Hard Drop/Bubba] Burgess of Orange, New Jersey formerly of St. George’s, son of the late Maxwell and Velma Burgess and loving father of Sherry, Marie, Maxine Burgess, Heather [Troy] Bean, Maxwell [Paulette] and Britney Burgess, will be held at The Ebenezer Methodist Church, St. George’s today, Friday November 13th, 2015 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at The Ebenezer Methodist Cemetery.
Visitation: Relatives and friends can pay their respects today at The Ebenezer Methodist Church from 11:00 am to 11:55 am.
Also surviving are his grandchildren Teika Burgess, Steven Lightbourne [Crystal], Tenik Burgess, Christopher Burgess, Samantha Ryley Bean, Kelsey Burgess and Zeko Burgess and Zayne Bean; great grandchildren Tayshun and Tani Burgess, Sacoy and S’Niyah Lightbourne, Nahla Burgess, Tesai Butterfield, Israel Lightbourne, Kennan and Kai Butterfield. Sisters Virginia Wright, Muriel Castro and Cheryl Burgess; brothers Keith and Walter Bell; nieces, and nephews. Maxwell was also predeceased by his sisters Elsie Simmons and Betty Rubaine, brother Conrad Weller and brother-in-law Donald Simmons. Maxwell leaves numerous other relatives and friends in Bermuda and overseas [Nadine Jean of New Jersey].
