Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Mrs Melvina Louise Robinson [nee Morton].
A homegoing service for Mrs Melvina Louise Robinson [nee Morton], wife of the late Erskine Eugene Robinson, daughter of the late C.M. Morton Sr. and Thelma Louise Morton, loving mother of Barclay Robinson [Georgianette], Eugenia Robinson-Lobban [Patrick], Laquita Nesbitt [Craig Sr.], sister to George E. Morton Sr, Joseph Arnold Morton [Brenda], Edith Rookes, Marion Morton, Lucille Lambert [Ewart], the late Charles “Billy” Morton Jr. [Loretta [deceased], and the late Stanley A. Morton [Ileys], in her 91st year, of 15 Boundary Crescent, Devonshire, will be held at First Church of God North Shore on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11.00 a.m.
Internment will follow at St. Johns Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home on Friday, February 16, 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The family kindly requests a dress code that is any shade of purple with any colour hat.
Lovingly survived by: grandchildren: Chrystallynn El, Janaé Nesbitt, Craig Nesbitt Jr., Sikudhani Satryah Robinson, Kyanna Robinson, Tybrae Robinson. Great grandchildren: Kesia Robinson, Asah Robinson, Akayla Robinson, Azra Robinson, Amon Robinson, Jay’a Sahje Nesbitt-Rayner. Great-great grandchild: Mosi Jahi Robinson. Pre-deceased by brothers-in-law: pre-deceased by Winfield Robinson, Gladwin Robinson, Sinclair Robinson. Sisters-in-law: Ileys Morton Sylvia Robinson, Merle Robinson, Dorothy Lightbourne and Ursula Lovell. Special sister-in-law: Lois Morton. Nieces: Lynn Morton, Lolita Morton-Godwin, Yolanda Baisden, Melissa Morton Burgess [Mijuel], Christie Morton, Shayla Morton, Samantha Washington [Harry], Leslie Rookes, Tamu Lambert, Akilah Littles, Shirlene White, Ellnina Lovell, and Sonja Thomas.
