A celebration of life for Mrs. Miranda Lister [nee Showers], wife of the Hon. Dennis P. Lister J.P., M.P., loving mother to Dennis J.R., J.P., M.P. [Alicia], Randall, and Russell. Daughter of Barritt Hope [deceased] and Norma Showers [nee Smith], in her 71st year of 2 Wingood Way, Sandys, will be held at Bermuda Institute’s Auditorium, Southampton, on Sunday, 4th May 2025, at 1:00 pm. The service will be livestreamed on: www.youtube.com/@warwicksdabda/live.
Visitation will be held at Warwick SDA Church on Saturday, 3rd May 2025 from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. Also at Bermuda Institute, Southampton, Sunday 4th May 2025 at 12:00 pm until 12:45 pm.
Interment to follow at St. Ann’s Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by siblings: Barritt, Rudolph [Bubba], Ralph [Renee], Aubrey Simmons [Olivia], Harold, Lavalle, Norma-Lynn, Jean-Ann, Jennifer Williams [James “Donte”], April, and Dawn. Brother & Sisters-in-law: Terry Lister [Eudora], Gina Lister, Cheryl Lister. Mother-in-law: Marion Lister.
Nephews: Barry, Brian, Darren, Clarke, Malik [Loderika], Kamal, Marvin Brangman [Gloria], Shawn, Shannon, Gregory Simmons, Mikey, Kevin, Kalvin, Blair, Kamar, Kyle. Nieces: Scheraine Stone, Tyiah, Dana Ware, Crystal, Lisa Talbot [Jerome], Rical, Raisa, Audrey Darrell [Sherman], Shannat, Shatika, Shayla Iris, Malikah Butterfield, Makayla Cumberbatch [Calvin], Denise Davies, Melody Depree, Neisha Wilson, Jenene, Jazmyn Williams. Nephews & Nieces-in-law: Keysha Tacklin, Latisha Lister-Burgess [Charles], Monique Lister, James [Anah] Lister, Genee Lister, and Dane Thompson.
Grand-nieces and grand-nephews, great-grand-nieces and great-grand-nephews, cousins, and other relatives: too numerous to mention. Miranda was predeceased by siblings: Gregory, Clark, and Michael Showers. Nephews: Antoine “Ballie” Brangman and Duvaughn “Wonnie” Signor.
