A homegoing service for Myra Claudine Wade [nee Maybury], daughter of Dorothy Ramsey and Elliott “Nick” Swan, in her 91st year of 4 Sleepy Hollow Drive, Hamilton Parish, will be held on Sunday, 9th of March 2025 at Southampton Seventh Day Adventist Church, Middle Road, Southampton, at 1:00 p.m. The interment will follow the service at Holy Trinity Church, 25 Trinity Church Rd, Hamilton Parish. The visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, 8th March 2025 at Amis Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Devoted mother to Pattie A. Woolridge, Pennie J. Whitehead, Wayne Edwards [Sandra], the late Wendell ‘Hillbilly’ Edwards, the late Winton ‘Winty’ Edwards Jr. and bonus son Terry Gibbons.
Lovingly remembered by brothers: Sheldon Joe Maybury [Irene], Cecil Whitecross, Russell Whitecross [Marian], Terry Gibbons [Joan], and the late Neville Whitecross. Loving grandmother to grandsons: Donawin, Damian, Seldon, and Rickai; granddaughters: Donnelle, Bianca, Seleana, Teresa, Tonya, and Lennae; 13 great-grands and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Other cherished in-laws, nieces and nephews, stepsiblings Wilma Jean Woods and Deborah Hutchings, numerous godchildren, father of children Winton ″Timmy″ Edwards Sr. [late], special friends and family: Donna and Robin Kelly, Elaine Whitecross, Ray Simons, Eulene Simons, the Maybury, Edwards, Wade, and Easton families, and the Southampton SDA Church Family.
