Ophelia Zenovia Bardgett

Ophelia Zenovia Bardgett [Ochitwa] 87, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Anne Stevens [John] and memories of the late Walter Bardgett. She is also survived by her brother Miroslaw [Mert] Ochitwa and sister Vitalia [Vi] Oulette who live in Canada.
Ophelia was born on June 8, 1935, in Norquay, Saskatchewan, Canada. She was the third child of Harry and Annie Ochitwa. Ophelia was a flight attendant for Trans Canada Airlines and travelled to exotic Bermuda when she met her lifelong dance partner Walter Bardgett at the Bermudiana Hotel. They fell in love, married and she moved to Bermuda to work for Eastern Airlines where she made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening and most of all entertaining friends and family at home. Her smile, positive outlook and determined nature will be greatly missed.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
