R. Joanne Odoli

In loving memory, we announce the passing of R. Joanne Odoli, born to Clarence “Jigga” Smith and Grace Smith, in her 76th year, residing at Sylvia Richardson Care Facility in St George’s. A funeral service will be held at Ebenezer Methodist Church in St George’s, at 3:00 p.m. on January 19th, 2025.
Following the service, there will be a gathering at the Royal Artillery Association Club. Joanne is survived by her siblings Effie Ratteray, Phillip Smith, Rose Douglas, and Dianna Adams. Joanne was a loving mother to Christina Smith, Paolo Odoli, Alessandro Odoli and Victoria Edmonds and grandmother to Garina Smith [Andrew], Christian Smith, Maximus Odoli and Lily Ross. Joanne has 7 nieces and nephews – Melanie Ratteray [Le’Grande], David Adams, Honey Adams [Peter Bell] and Zonya Adams, Pushkin Douglas, Karen and Kelly Smith.
She also leaves behind numerous close friends at Sylvia Richardson, the St. George’s branch of the Progressive Labour Party and many others in the community.
