A celebration of life service for Mr. Robert Leroy Pennington Smith [Ice Water] of #18 Vesey Street, Devonshire, beloved husband of sixty-three years to Barbara C.E. Smith [nee Dill], son of the late Edward and Enith Smith, loving father to Edward Dill, Andrea E.V. Smith, Adrienne Cobbs [Smith], and [the late] Kevin Smith, brother to Edward [Ice Water] Smith, Enith Young, Hilda Warner, Lois Pilgrim, Ruth Santucci, Harriett Ponder, the late Ethlyn Hughes and Phyllis Flood, will be held at Christ Church Devonshire, today, July 26, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation will be held at Christ Church Devonshire, today, July 26, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m.
Interment to follow at Christ Church Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Corey Dill, Wayne and Kevon Burgess, Jayna’e and Jason Dillas; mother-in-law: the late Mary Dill [Ball]; father-in-law: the late Orville Smith; son-in-law: the late Anthony [DJ Rockin] Cobbs; daughter-in-law: Gloria [Sandy] Dill [nee Burchall]; brothers-in-law: Gerald Lawrence, Eugene Ball, the late Clarence [Mickey] Minors; sisters-in-law: Shirley Lawrence, Antionette Douglas, Jean Ball [deceased], and Virgina [aunt Pye] Minors.
