Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: Roydon Olanza Furbert “Bucko” in his 61st year of Crawl Point Lane West, Hamilton Parish, CR-02 formally of Friswell’s Hill, Pembroke, son of the late Maxwell Furbert and Lucille Furbert [nee Simmons], loving father to Shakkira Furbert, Davina Furbert and Roydon Furbert Jr., grandfather to Israel Vah, brother to Preston Simmons, Carol Burrows, Eugene Furbert Andre Furbert, and Sharon Furbert. A Celebration of Life service for Roydon Olanza Furbert “Bucko” will be held on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at Brighton Hill Church of Christ, 26 Brighton Hill Road, Devonshire at 12:00 pm.
Visitation will be held from Brighton Hill Church of Christ, 26 Brighton Hill Road, Devonshire on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 11:00 am to 11:55 am only.
Interment to follow at St. Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by nephews: Vaughn Burrows [Laquinta] Curry Burrows, Kanti Furbert, and Kiwon Furbert; niece: Zuri Taylor [Michael]; great-nephews: Kiwon Furbert Jr., Terrance Christopher, Terron Christopher, DiNiro Christopher, and Amir Christopher, Theia Zuill, and Koa Zuill; great-nieces: Ceniyah Furbert, Skye Furbert, Terrae Christopher, and Torah Christopher; special friends: Shayne Smith, Parris Smith, Shelton Harris, William Benjamin “Squidly”, Clay Smith, Kenneth Burrows “Jamis” and Kenny Basden; god-child: Eshu Grant; cousins: Simmons family, Shawn Gibbons and Nicole Gibbons-Renfroe; Friswell’s Hill family, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
