Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Mrs. Sharon Elizabeth Louise Curtis [nee Ming], beloved wife of the Calvin Curtis; daughter of the late Maxwell and Eloise Dill, mother to Monique Shannon [Kah-li] and Sommer Ming and [Amoy], sister: Dawnie Smith [Fred], Charmaine Dill; brother: Maxwell Dill Jr. [Tamisha], in her 68th year of Unit 70, Cedar Park Prospect, Devonshire.
Funeral service will be held at Heritage Worship Centre, today, August 14th, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
Service will be livestreamed through TNN Bermuda News As It Happens Facebook Page.
Interment will follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Sharon is adored and lovingly remembered by her nephew: Dajoune Smith, late Damien Smith; nieces: Crystal Waldron-Smith [Daniel], and Chardonnae Dill; great-nephews and nieces: Cinaj Smith, Jasmine Raynor, Danielle and Josiah Davis; sisters-in-law: Judy and Muriel Curtis; brother-in-law: Maxwell Curtis; special aunt: Mildred Wainwright; godchildren: Antoine Tuzo, Janita Hendrickson, Dawn Spence, Naquaysha Matthews, Marie Burgess; special cousin: Linda Brangman; god parents: Lavina [Poggie] Cameron, late George Simons and Marjorie Holdipp; special friends: Enith Hill, Jean Wilson, Deanna Raynor, Sharon Gilbert, Mitzy Richardson, Lafey Bolin, Mrs. Ianthea Wade, Dr. Georgette Jackson-Godwin, Pastor Rodney Grimes, Lekan Goater, Wayne Adams, Tiffany Davis, Rosemary Burgess, Brenda Outerbridge, Laura Grant, Maria Ramirez, Loudas Wainwright and the entire Caregivers at Westmeath Residential and Nursing Home, and Matilda Smith Williams Nursing Home.
She also leaves to cherish her memory, a host of cousins, friends and other loved ones too numerous to mention. Sharon was predeceased by mother-in-law: Muriel Curtis, numerous aunts and uncles too numerous to mention.
